Ingredients
- 1 lb plain ground pork
- 1 tbsp cumin
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp ancho chili powder
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 1/2 tbsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp coriander
- 1 tsp Mexican oregano
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ground thyme
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 2 tbsp olive oil or avocado oil
Instructions
- In a small dish, combine all of the spices and seasonings
- In a larger bowl, add ground pork, spice blend and apple cider vinegar
- Use your hands to incorporate the spices and vinegar into the pork really well. Stop once all of the spices are equally mixed into the ground pork, as to not over-mix, which can dry out the meat
- In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium-high heat, and add in the ground pork. Cook for 8-10 minutes until all of the pork is cooked through and crumbled.
