Ingredients
- 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breast, sliced into thin strips
- 1 tablespoon cajun seasoning
- 1 tablespoon avocado oil or olive oil
- 2 tablespoons chicken broth
- 12–16 ounces steamer bag of frozen broccoli
- 1 jar Primal Kitchen Garlic Alfredo
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Season the sliced chicken pieces with the cajun seasoning. Rub it in well on all sides of the chicken
- Add the oil into a large skillet and heat over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, add in the chicken pieces so they’re laying flat and not overcrowded. Depending on the size of your skillet, you may need to do two batches
- Cook the chicken strips for 3 minutes, flip, and cook an additional 3 minutes on the other side, or until they’re cooked through. Remove them from the skillet and set aside
- Reduce the heat to medium and add in the minced garlic. Saute for about 1 minute until fragrant, then pour in the broth to deglaze the pan. Scrape up any browned bits and then pour in the alfredo sauce
- While the alfredo sauce is heating, place the bag of broccoli into the microwave and steam according to the directions on the package
- Once the alfredo is bubbling, add in the shredded parmesan cheese and stir into the sauce until it’s combined. Then add in the shredded mozzarella cheese and stir that into the sauce until it’s combined
- Lastly add in the broccoli, and add the sliced chicken back into the skillet. Stir into the sauce gently and cook for 2 to 3 minutes to allow the chicken to rewarm in the sauce
